UPDATE: Cops release pictures of two gang members who knifed victims and a dog in Jackson Heights

Detectives continue to search for two reputed street gang members who knifed two men in separate incidents at the same Jackson Heights intersection on Saturday night.

The NYPD released on Monday afternoon images and a video of the two perpetrators, both of whom were described as Hispanic males.

Police said first attack took place at 7:35 p.m. at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 80th Street, where the suspects approached a 16-year-old male as he walked his dog.

According to published reports, the suspects asked the victim if he knew of a local street gang. When the victim responded that he did not know the group, it was reported, the perpetrators knifed the victim in the abdomen and his dog in the back, then fled the scene.

Both the teenager and his dog were hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening.

Police said the suspects returned to the location at about 9 p.m. and stabbed a 22-year-old man in the back as he walked through the area. The victim was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a dark colored jacket, light colored pants and black and white sneakers. His partner in crime was last observed wearing a black and yellow baseball cap, a dark colored jacket and light colored pants.
