Police released on Tuesday night images of two men wanted for a series of business burglaries in Ridgewood, during which they damaged ATM devices and stole thousands of dollars in cash.

According to authorities, the most recent incident occurred between 11:55 p.m. on April 27 and early the next morning, when the crooks broke into a store located at 853 Wyckoff Ave. (between Cornelia Street and Jefferson Street). They proceeded to breach the ATM and removed approximately $15,760 in cash.

Following an investigation, the NYPD linked the suspects to four similar burglaries earlier this year:

  • At 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 27, the two unidentified males cut the locks to a roll-down gate and made their way inside a grocery store located at 466 Woodward Ave. They removed 40 cartons of cigarettes and $600 in cash left in the register. Police said they also compromised the ATM and removed an unknown quantity of cash.
  • Nearly a month later, at 3 a.m. on March 23, the perpetrators pried open the rear door of a restaurant located at 803 Cypress Ave., damaged an ATM and removed $17,380 in cash. To cover their tracks, police said, they also damaged a security camera and removed a tape inside it.
  • Between 8 p.m. on April 10 and 7 a.m. the following morning, authorities said, the crooks cut the locks to metal doors at a business located at 2042 Grove St. They entered the location, broke into an ATM and removed $17,840.
  • Finally, between 11 p.m. on April 18 and 6:05 a.m. the next morning, the burglars entered a grocery store located at 62-86 60th Pl. through a basement access door and removed $170 from an ATM.

All of the incidents were reported to the 104th Precinct.
