UPDATE: Two men steal cash, jewelry and electronics from Sunnyside apartments

Police are looking for two men who entered two Sunnyside apartments and stole cash and thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and electronics.

The most recent incident occurred on Friday, July 29 between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The suspects unlawfully entered an apartment on 44th street through the front door and stole a laptop plus six small diamonds.

On Friday, July 15 at 3:20 p.m., two men illegally entered an apartment near 43rd Avenue and 44th Street. After walking through the front door, the suspects stole $1,400 in cash, jewelry valued at $8,000 and electronics before fleeing on foot, police said.

Both cases were reported to the 108th Precinct; there were no reported injuries.

The first suspect was described as a black male who was bald and had a beard. He was last seen wearing dark Nike sneakers, a black t-shirt and olive cargo shorts.

The second suspect was described as a male with a beard and long dark hair. He was last seen wearing blue Nike sneakers, a baseball cap, a black t-shirt and blue denim shorts.
