ELMHURST—Police were searching for a man who allegedly attempted to rob a bank in Elmhurst.
On Sept. 9 at 2:20 p.m. the suspect entered a Citibank at 87-11 Queens Blvd. and passed a note to the bank teller demanding money, police said. The suspect fled the bank without any money, according to the NYPD.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, between 30 and 35 years old, with a light complexion. He is believed to be approximately 5-foot-9 and weigh about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, black sneakers, a striped shirt and blue jeans.
