Police are searching for a man wanted for robbing two livery cab drivers at gunpoint nearly a month apart in Ridgewood and Glendale.

According to the cops, in the first incident, the suspect — described as a male, standing 5 feet 9 inches, weighing 170 pounds, and last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and sunglasses — was picked up by a cab in the vicinity of Nansen Street and 70th Avenue in Forest Hills, on Sept. 16 at approximately 6:10 p.m.

Upon arriving in front of a home on Linden Street between Seneca and Onderdonk avenues in Ridgewood, law enforcement sources said, the suspect displayed a black firearm and demanded the 50-year-old male driver’s cellphone, cash and keys. The male took the property and fled the vehicle in an unknown direction.

Then, police say on Tuesday, Oct. 6, the same suspect entered a livery cab in the vicinity of 68th Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard on the Middle Village/Rego Park border at approximately 7:35 p.m.

According to cops, upon arriving in the vicinity of Cooper Avenue and 80th Street in Glendale, the robber again displayed a black firearm and demanded the 54-year-old female driver’s cash and keys. The suspect fled the cab in an unknown direction with the victim’s property and $175.
