Six children and two adults were injured in a crash involving a school bus and a car in Fresh Meadows during the Monday morning rush hour, Fire Department sources said.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the vicinity of 75th Avenue and 181st Street, police said.
According to published reports, the school bus collided with a car, then jumped the curb and crashed into a tree in a home’s yard.

Multiple Fire Department units and police responded to the scene. The victims were taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital for evaluation of their injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
