Cops are continuing to search for a man who took great pains to conceal his identity while robbing a dollar store in Astoria last month.
The caper took place at 1:55 p.m. on Nov. 30 inside the Family Dollar shop located at 35-27 31st St.
According to police, the bandit – described as a man standing 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds who was last seen wearing glasses and a dark-colored, hooded winter jacket – approached a 27-year-old male employee and threatened to shoot him if he didn’t provide cash.
Police noted that no weapons were displayed during the incident.
Law enforcement sources said the worker complied with the request and handed over $176 from the cash register to the suspect, who took the money and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The incident was reported to the 114th Precinct; there were no injuries.
