Wendy’s cuts ribbon on Jackson Heights location

Wendy’s officially opened its Jackson Heights store Tuesday, representing its 11th fast food outlet in Queens.

The Jackson Heights operation, located on corner of Broadway and 73rd Street, is nearly 5,000 square feet, with a ground floor ordering area and second floor seating.

The store had a soft opening yesterday with an official ribbon cutting at 1 pm today.

The Jackson Heights operation is owned by Briad WenCo LLC, which has the franchise to all 11 Wendy’s stores in Queens.

The Queens locations are managed by Malone Biswas who was at the ribbon cutting today.

Biswas was joined by Richard Heckler, Director of Operations at Briad WenCo, Thomas Grech, Executive Director of the Queens Chamber of Commerce, Brendan Leavy, the Chamber’s Business Development Manager, and representatives of local elected officials.

The employees at the Jackson Heights outlet had been training at the Rego Park, Middle Village and Whitestone locations prior to the opening.
