Police have released images of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident in South Jamaica early on New Year’s Day morning that claimed the life of a 52-year-old man.
Thomas Bradley Jr. of 200th Street in St. Albans was hit by a car as he attempted to cross South Conduit Avenue at Rockaway Boulevard at 2:34 a.m. on Jan. 1.
According to law enforcement sources, the vehicle did not stop after hitting Bradley and sped away in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 105th Precinct and the Collision Investigation Squad responded to the scene along with EMS units. Paramedics pronounced Bradley dead at the scene; he had suffered severe injuries to his body.
Police described the vehicle involved in the deadly incident as a red Ford Mustang with damage to the front passenger side and a missing passenger side mirror.
