Police are looking for a man who fondled a woman while they rode an express train in western Queens earlier this month.
The NYPD released on Wednesday, Feb. 22, an image of the suspect wanted for the incident that took place at 5:24 p.m. on Feb. 11 on board a Queens-bound E train between Queens Plaza and Roosevelt Avenue.
According to authorities, the male suspect and a 46-year-old woman were sitting on the train when the man touched the woman’s thigh. When she got up to confront him, police said, he then grabbed her buttocks and smiled at her.
The woman left the train after it arrived at Roosevelt Avenue, while the man stayed on board, police noted. The incident was later reported to the 110th Precinct and the NYPD Transit Bureau.
Law enforcement agents describe the suspect as an Asian male believed to be 25 years old, standing 5 foot 6 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds with a medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black coat and tan pants.
