Cops are investigating what caused a collision between a school bus and a truck in Rosedale on Friday morning that sent 17 children to the hospital.
At 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, a commercial box truck collided with a school bus at the intersection of Rockaway and Brookville boulevards. According to police, there were 25 children on the bus at the time.
The 17 injured children were transported to St. John’s Episcopal Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver of the box truck and the bus, who have no reported injuries, stayed at the scene of crash.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
