The biggest names in music will come to Queens in September for a three-day music and arts festival.
Now in its second year, The Meadows Music and Arts Festival will take place from Sept. 15 through Sept. 17 at Citi Field, where acts like Jay Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer and more are set to perform.
Last year, the festival took place over two days in October and approximately 80,000 fans showed up. In addition to the music, local food vendors and street artists will also be featured. The event will also be livestreamed by the music streaming app Tidal for those who can’t make it to the festival.
Artists who call Queens home are also featured in the lineup including Nas, Action Bronson, L.L. Cool J and Heems from Swet Shop Boys.
The “Feastival of Queens,” curated by Queens-based food writer Joe DiStefano, will feature food from an eclectic mix of Queens eateries to “embrace the amazing culinary diversity of Queens,” according to a release.
Tickets go on sale on May 10 at 12 p.m. A three-day early bird special ticket costs $275; a three-day advance ticket costs $290; and a three-day regular package costs $305. To purchase tickets, visit The Meadows Festival website.
