The NYPD is searching for a man who allegedly broke into a Jackson Heights electronics store and stole $15,000 in cash and more than a hundred laptop computers and cell phones last week. The suspect entered Electromania, located at 100-15 Roosevelt Ave., through a back window just after 10:30 p.m. June 7, police said.

Once inside he gathered the $15,000 in cash, 20 iPhones, 35 Samsung Galaxy cell phones and 40 HP laptops before fleeing, according to the NYPD. The suspect is described as having a skinny build with long hair. He was caught on a surveillance camera wearing a skull cap, a hooded sweatshirt and gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
