Here we goat again.
Police officers wrangled an escaped goat that was spotted running loose in Ozone Park.
ABC7 first reported that a goat was out and about behind M.S. 137 at 98th Street and 109th Avenue early this morning. The goat had reportedly escaped from a nearby slaughterhouse.
Police officers caught the goat and returned it to its original owner. It is unknown at this time what fate awaits the goat.
Cops have had a history of chasing down animals who have escaped from slaughterhouses in Queens. This past February, a runaway bull escaped from a slaughterhouse in Jamaica and managed to evade the police for over two hours before being captured. The bull died later that day while in custody of an Animal Care Centers of NYC facility in Brooklyn.
