If you’ve ever dreamed of pulling an all-nighter at your local library, you’ll get your chance tomorrow when Queens Library hosts 31 hours of events at its Corona location.

The event is part of the library’s “Queens is for Everyone” campaign that aims to “make clear that Queens Library is here for everyone, no matter their background, identity, or circumstances, especially in the current political climate.”

There are 35 events scheduled for the occasion and the all-nighter will kick off on June 2 at 10:30 a.m. when Queens Library President and CEO Dennis M. Walcott facilitates a toddler story time. The Corona location at 38-23 104th St. was chosen because of the number of people it serves, approximately 20,000 per month and “its strong ties to its diverse community,” according to the Queens Library.

In addition to services like free legal assistance from the New York Legal Assistance Group and a workshop on immigrant rights from Queens Legal Hand, the event will include an event called “Healthy and Delicious,” which will provide Queens residents with healthy recipes.

Representatives from the Queens Memory Project will collect old photographs and documents to add to an archive that aims to preserve the history of Queens. Teenagers will also learn how to play chess, checkers, Monopoly and dominoes. For adults, library employees will provide job readiness assistance, which will include resume writing tips, how to find a job and interview preparation.

From 10 p.m. to midnight, attendees can participate in “Bonfire Storytelling and Songs” or play English learning games. “Scary Story Time,” “Slime Time Craft” and music and dance from local artists like Cruz Control, Bills Marley, La o y la z and Flowky will take place from midnight to 2 a.m.

If you’re in the mood to sing and dance, Karaoke and a dance party are scheduled from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m., along with sunrise yoga from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.

The Queens Library will feed attendees at 8 a.m. before another host of events including Pokemon craft activities, performances by Mexican musicians and an open mic with a performance by Queens poet laureate Maria Lisella.
