Woman cashes bad checks from another person’s account from two Queens banks: cops

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a woman who used another person’s bank information to cash checks at two separate banks in Jamaica and Flushing.

According to police, the suspect, who is described as a black female, entered two different Chase Bank locations, one at 110-36 Merrick Blvd. and the other at 32-45 Francis Lewis Blvd.

Once she was inside the banks, the suspect used a 45-year-old woman’s checking account information to cash two checks totaling $1,400.

The victim reported the theft to the 109th Precinct based in Flushing.
