Police have released images of a man and a woman responsible for a burglary pattern in Maspeth, hitting two homes within a span of three days in broad daylight earlier this summer.

According to authorities, the duo first attempted to break into a residence on 55th Drive in Maspeth through both the front and back doors using an unknown object at 11:55 a.m. on July 31. After failing to enter the home, the burglars fled on foot heading westbound on 55th Drive, law enforcement agents said.

Then, on Wednesday, Aug. 2, police reported that the unidentified male and female gained entrance to a residence on 56th Road through the front door at 7:30 a.m. where they managed to lift an Apple Macbook and $250 in cash.

Cops have described the crooks as a white male with a slim build and dark hair with a receding hairline; and a white female with a slim build and blond hair.

Surveillance footage from the July 31 incident has been released. In the video, the pair can be seen walking around a patio with black sweaters tied around their waists, and looking at the home. They eventually take off without removing any property.
