Football season is back, and Gantry Bar & Kitchen is pulling out all the stops to be the go-to sports bar in Long Island City.
“We ordered the NFL Ticket package to show games every Sunday, Monday and Thursday, including preseason games,” said co-owner Paula Griffin.
The gastropub which opened in February of last year, features four HDTVs and a projector to air each game.
“We will be offering a rotating beer special for the duration of every Monday game for $6 a glass,” Griffin said. “We’ll also be giving out a free order of wings to whoever kicks the keg.”
Every Monday and Thursday, the bar will also offer $1 wings with a minimum of 8 per order, and $20 pitchers of Radeberger, Shock Top and their rotating beer special.
Beyond American football, Gantry Bar & Kitchen will also be airing all English Premier League soccer games, as well as La Liga Soccer and European tournaments.
The bar will still be offering its daily happy hour of $7 cocktails, $6 draft beers and $20 buckets from noon to 7:00 pm every Monday to Friday
For afternoon games, Gantry Bar & Kitchen will also have a daily lunch special available from noon to 4:00 pm.
“Since opening, we have gotten a lot of feedback from regulars in regards to our food menu, so we’ve added vegetarian options such as vegetarian tacos, black bean burgers, and hearty salads,” Griffin said.
