Long Island man arrested after motorcycle collides with Porsche in Bayside

A Long Island man discovered to be operating a motorcycle without a license was cuffed after a collision at a Bayside intersection.

Daniel Strnad, 27, of Plainview was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to authorities.

On Aug. 23 at around 6:10 p.m., Strnad was operating a motorcycle with a 23-year-old female passenger northbound on 211th Street. The motorcycle was then struck by a Porsche operated by a 22-year-old female traveling eastbound on 39th Avenue.

EMS transported both Strnad and the passenger to Booth Memorial Hospital in stable condition. There were no other reported injuries, according to police.

Subsequent to the investigation, Strnad was arrested and charged. No other arrests have been made.
