Senior man breaks into Woodside apartments and leaves with electronics and cash: cops

Cops are looking for an older man who broke into two apartments in Woodside earlier this week and stole valuables.

On Monday, Aug. 28 between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m., an unknown man entered a residential building in the vicinity of 41st Avenue and 66th Street through the front door. Once inside, he used a tool to pry open the door to Apartment 1, but left without any property.

The suspect then proceeded to pry open the door to Apartment 3 with a tool. Once inside, the suspect took a Louis Vuitton bag, multiple wallets, jewelry, watches, at least one credit card, laptops, cameras, an iPhone, and other various electronics, and $600 in cash. The thief then fled the location on a scooter.

The suspect is described as man between the ages of 60 and 70-years-old.
