Jonel Lattore, a suspect in the Aug. 15 murder of Teriana Holcombe from Cambria Heights, was arrested Friday and charged with murder, possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, according to police.
Less than two weeks ago, police arrived on the scene at 198 St. and Murdock Ave. in St. Albans after receiving a call about an assault in progress, authorities said.
Police found Holcombe unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head, according to authorities.
EMS later arrived and transported Holcombe, 21, to Jamaica Hospital where she was pronounced dead, police said. Her family was notified of her passing, according to authorities.
If convicted, the suspect faces up to 25 years in prison, according to a spokeswoman for the Queens District Attorney.
