The Hunters Point CVS pharmacy that was expected to open by the end of August is slated to open early October, according to a spokesperson who said the company made a mistake when it notified the media in August that it was about to open.
The spokesperson for the drugstore, which is opening at 1-50 50th Avenue, said that an error was made when they were referring to a list that showed details about the pharmacy. “When looking at the list, I was looking at the wrong date,” the spokesperson said.
The pharmacy at the ground floor of the Hunters Point South Commons tower is over 11,000 square-feet. It joins several nearby drugstores in the area, including Nature’s Prescriptions, Vernon Boulevard Pharmacy, and Duane Reade.
