Woman robs Corona bank in broad daylight: NYPD

Police were looking for a woman who allegedly robbed a Corona bank Saturday afternoon. The suspect entered the New York Community Bank located at 51-13 108th St. around 3 p.m. and approached a 21-year-old teller and passed a note demanding cash, police said. The teller complied and the suspect fled the location with an undetermined amount of cash, according to the NYPD.

There were no injuries reported at the scene.

The suspect was caught on surveillance footage and was described by police as a black woman with a dark complexion, around 5-foot-5 and 170 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black coat, black hat and black sunglasses.
