SOUTH OZONE PARK — A young girl from South Jamaica who was thought to have gone missing from in front of her school in South Ozone Park Nov. 8 is back home, according to the NYPD.
Leslie Martin, 12, was last seen around 4:30 p.m. Nov. 8 in front of PS 226, located at 121-10 Rockaway Blvd., but when she returned after the police put out a missing notice for the pre-teen, according to the authorities.
It turned out the young girl got in an argument with her mother and decided to run off, according to police. Leslie rode the bus all day and when she got tired came home the following morning of Nov. 9.
