Cops need your help in finding a man who swiped more than a thousand dollars from a bank in Maspeth earlier this week.
Law enforcement sources said the crook walked into the Investors Bank located at 69-71 Grand Ave. at 3:52 p.m. on Jan. 16 and approached a 30-year-old teller. The bandit provided the worker with a note demanding cash.
The employee complied with the request and handed to the suspect $1,165, police said. The thief then took off in an unknown direction.
Officers from the 104th Precinct responded to the robbery; there were no injures.
Police described the bandit as a white man standing 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds who was last seen wearing a winter hat, a gray scarf, gray fleece sweatshirt, dark pants, gray sneakers and black gloves.
