Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman who was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at a Flushing grocery store on Sunday afternoon.
At 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 21, authorities said, the woman was depositing plastic bottles into a recycling machine behind a Food Plus store, located at 44-12 Kissena Blvd., when she collapsed and lost consciousness.
Paramedics were called to the scene and found her unconscious and unresponsive. They brought her to Flushing Hospital Medical Center in critical condition; she was later transferred to North Shore University Hospital.
Police described her as an Asian woman in her 60s. At the time of her collapse, she wore a black hooded coat, dark-colored pants, tan boots and carrying a black purse.
