Man steals jewelry, computer from Woodside apartment: NYPD

Police were looking for a man who allegedly broke into a Woodside apartment last week and stole jewelry and a tablet.

The incident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, when a suspect entered the front door of a three-family building near 55th Street and Roosevelt Avenue and proceeded to the third floor apartment, which he entered by unknown means, according to the NYPD.

Once inside, the suspect removed jewelry and a tablet from the bedroom, police said. The suspect wore dark pants and a dark jacket, a grey hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap, according to police.
