Thief breaks into Flushing Senior Center and walks out with electronics and cash

Police are looking for a man who stole money and electronics from a senior center in Flushing.

According to police, at 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 18, an unknown man entered the Flushing Senior Center, located at 136-82 39th Ave. Once inside, the suspect removed laptops, a cellphone, tablets and cash.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Police describe the suspect as a black male who was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, a gray hat and blue jeans.
