The Irish Music Festival is returning for a sixth time to Sunnyside this Sunday, immediately following the famed St. Pat’s for All parade.
The music festival will feature live music, food and drink specials, and dancing through the nine bars that form part of Sunnyside’s Boulevard Bars.
The first bands and musical acts will begin playing at 3 p.m., with other groups and performances planned through the night.
Musicians performing at 3 p.m. include Brian Halloran, who will play at Sidetracks, and Michael Brunnock, who will play at Bar 43 until 6 p.m. Other bands include The Thirsty Bandits at The Gaslight, and JD & the Invisible Band at Jack’s Fire Dept.
More information on the musical lineup for the festival can be seen in the flyer below.
All the nine bars will also offer discounted prices for drinks and food.
Past events have seen upwards of 300 to 400 people stop through the night.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early and experience everything that the bars have to offer,” said Melissa Navia, the social media manager for Boulevard Bars. “We encourage people to check out as much music as possible and bars that might be new to them.”
Boulevard Bars invites attendees to visit their Facebook event page for updates and details.
Participating bars include Sidetracks, Jack’s Fire Dept., Bar 43, The Gaslight, Maggie Mae’s, McGuinness’s Salloon, Ida’s Nearabout, The Courtyard Ale House, and Arriba Arriba.
