The Lego-crazy kids came in swarms — 11,000 people in all, according to officials — to the Brick Fest Live event at the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park last weekend. The Danish company that makes Legos had no official connection to the two-day event. Brick Fest Live bills itself as the largest fan-based Lego convention in the country.
