Cops are searching for a suspect who was caught on camera stealing cash from a woman with a cane in Jamaica on Thursday evening.
On April 12 at around 6:05 p.m., a 76-year-old female victim was in the vicinity of 164th Street and Grand Central Parkway when an unidentified man forcibly removed her wallet from her purse, according to police.
The suspect then removed $80 in cash and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
There were no reported injuries. The incident was reported to the 107th Precinct.
The individual is described by authorities as a white adult male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches tall and 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored winter jacket with a hood and a skull cap.
