The police have released video footage of a man who slapped a senior citizen in the face Friday after getting into a heated argument.
The suspect allegedly hit a 94-year-old man in the face on the front steps of a 97th Street apartment building in Jackson Heights at around 12:18 p.m. yesterday, police said. The victim’s glasses fell to the ground and then the suspect stepped on them, breaking them.
The victim sustained a small laceration to his nose, police said.
The suspect is described as black, in his 50s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing black boots, dark jeans and a grey hooded sweatshirt.
