The NYPD will be towing cars that park on a number of Hunters Point streets–starting tomorrow–as part of Fourth of July festivities at the waterfront.

A “Complete Frozen Zone” will be in effect beginning at 10 p.m. on July 3, where cars will not be allowed to park on streets between Vernon Boulevard and Center Boulevard, and all side streets.

All streets within the red outline are under the NYPD’s no parking regulations.

The restrictions will span from 44th Drive down to 54th Avenue, covering everything west of Vernon Boulevard in the area including 2nd Street, 5th Street, and Borden Avenue.

Cars that do park in the restricted area will be towed, police said.

The parking restrictions will be lifted at 11 p.m. on July 4th.
