State Assemblywoman Nily Rozic’s (D-Fresh Meadows) Senior Resource Guide is the complete package to better serve seniors, their families, and caregivers in Queens.
Rozic, along with state Sen. Toby Stavisky (D-Bayside) and community leaders, visited seniors last week at the Bayside Senior Center at 221-15 Horace Harding Expressway to announce the available Senior Resource Guide.
“My district has some incredible resources for seniors and caregivers, and my Senior Resource Guide helps share those programs with families across the district,” said Rozic. “I hope that by sharing all that this community has to offer, seniors can take advantage of local senior centers, health facilities, and social services organizations.”
Compiled and printed this year, Rozic’s Senior Resource Guide lists many services to help seniors, including advocacy organizations, caregiver support resources, consumer protection agencies, legal assistance programs, transportation and housing resources and community centers.
“This resource guide by Assembly member Rozic will serve as an important tool for many individuals,” said Stavisky.
The guide is available in both a print edition and online. Her office plans to provide it in additional languages including Chinese and Korean.
Anyone interested in obtaining a copy can contact Rozic’s district office at (718) 820-0241.
