Enjoy a day of food and fun while celebrating Brooklyn’s finest craftsmen during a special event at one of the borough’s most historic buildings.

On Sunday, Sept. 16, Greenpointers will host their first-ever Indie Makers Market from noon to 7 p.m. at the BIBA of Williamsburg, located at 110 Kent Ave.

The market aims to highlight 20 of Brooklyn’s best makers and showcase their high quality, unique creations.

The day will kick off with food from Brooklyn’s own Awkward Scone plus an assortment of boozy brunch drinks to choose from that come right from BIBA’s bar and beer hall. Activities including henna tattoos by Miss V, tarot card readings by Starhawk of Greenpoint’s Tie-Dye making Starhawk Design Studio, guitar making demos by local guitar crafter FSC Guitars, and magic lessons by the Brooklyn Paranormal Society will be available throughout the day.

Admission is free, however guests are encouraged to RSVP on Facebook to stay updated.

The market is happening in conjunction with TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint, which will be taking place next door at East River Park at the same time. The outdoor foodie festival will feature over 40 restaurants and bars, including food by Michelin-starred chefs.
