Airport Ground Handlers was founded on the principal of providing cost-effective and world-class service to our partners. A minority-owned family business; its founders have a combined 80-plus years of experience in the aviation industry. They ensure agents and staff are equipped to handle safety and carrier specific requirements for both international and domestic flights. Servicing commercial and private flights, AGH has accommodated various charter requests such as; Military, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAA, and groups traveling with not-for-profit organizations.
Though the company’s primary operations are based at John F. Kennedy International Airport, its influence extends to several airports in the tri-state area as well as Miami International Airport, where it successfully implemented public and private service charter operations.
Currently, Airport Ground Handlers daily operations focus on passenger service, station management, administrative service, and more recently luggage delivery. There was a deficiency in the delivery processes currently in place and we saw an opportunity to make real strides to improve both the passenger and airline experience. It has created a web-based mobile app that runs on both the iOS and Android platform which allows us to seamlessly process, track and manage luggage delivery in real-time from e-BDO creation to final delivery using tag scanning. Through the process passengers are proactively notified via automated text messages with status updates and eventually sign for delivery on the drivers’ mobile device.
