Two people have been hospitalized with injuries after four vehicles collided on the Clearview Expressway in Bayside on Tuesday morning.
Calls came in to the Fire Department at about 9:21 a.m. on Nov. 6 about the accident on the highway’s northbound lanes near Exit 4 (Long Island Expressway).
Sources said at least one of the cars had spun out while another had its rear passenger wheel ripped off in the impact.
Paramedics rushed the injured victims to Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Flushing Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
FDNY and NYPD do not have further details about the accident at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
