A Jackson Heights man was arrested yesterday after allegedly fondling a 13-year-old girl twice on separate occasions while on trains in Queens and Manhattan last month.
Walter Polanco, a 66-year-old who lives on 92nd Street, was charged with stalking to the second degree and forcible touching, and is accused of groping the young girl in February incidents two weeks apart from one another.
Polanco allegedly touched the victim’s inner thigh while they were both inside a Flushing-bound 7 train approaching Queensboro Plaza on the morning of Feb. 12.
On the morning of Feb. 26, the two were aboard a northbound 5 train in Manhattan when he allegedly touched her upper thigh area before stepping off the train at 149th Street – Grand Concourse.
His arrest comes one day after police released his images to the public.
