The police are investigating the cause of death of a man who died inside his Jackson Heights apartment this morning.
Police responded to a 911 call around 7:42 a.m. regarding an unconscious man who was inside his apartment at 35-01 93rd St. They found Hector Fernandez, 40, unconscious and unresponsive.
EMS pronounced Fernandez dead at the scene. The New York City Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
