Police are searching for a man wanted for two burglaries that occurred last week in College Point that resulted in $1,100 of stolen cash.
On Monday April 8, around 11:40 a.m., the suspect entered a building near 5th Avenue and 125th Street by going through an unsecured window. Once inside, he stole approximately $500 in cash before fleeing the scene.
Four days later, on April 12, around 10:40 a.m. the same man entered another building through an unsecured window, this time near 14th Avenue and 126th Street. The burglar made off with approximately $600, police said.
The suspect is described at Asian, in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches in height, and 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark winter jacket and blue pants.
