Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl while she was asleep on the 7 train in Corona on Sunday, according to police.

Kenneth Kou, 28, was taken into custody Wednesday around 6:30 p.m. at his place of employment in Nassau County and later arrested, police say.

Kou was charged with sex abuse, forcible touching, and acting in a manner injurious to a child, according to police.

Kou, who lives on Long Island in the vicinity of Evans Avenue and Wentworth Avenue, allegedly pressed his body against the victim while she was sleeping on a Queens-bound 7 train as it was approaching the Junction Boulevard station at around 3:45 p.m. on May 26, police said.

Police said the detective squad received a tip that led to Kou’s arrest.

The investigation remains ongoing.
