
Man Wanted for Punching Bus Driver Near Queens Center Mall (NYPD Crimestoppers)

A man is wanted for punching a Queens bus driver in the face after arguing with him over the cost of the bus fare.
Police say on May 2 around 5:50 p.m. the man boarded the Q88 bus near the Queens Center Mall, in the vicinity of 59 Avenue and 92 Street, and got into a war of words with the 30-year-old male bus driver.
The argument escalated to an assault when the man punched the bus driver in the face and then fled toward 94 Street, according to police.
EMS arrived shortly after the assault and treated the bus driver for a swelling face on scene.
Police describe the suspect as male, 6 feet tall, with a goatee. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants and was carrying a black backpack.
