Unity Stage, a Sunnyside-based non profit organization that facilitates performance art for children, is producing its first middle school production with this play.

The performance, to take place at P.S. 212 at 34-25 82nd St in Jackson Heights, will have two showings: Saturday May 18 at 6 p.m. and then again on Sunday May 19 at 3 p.m.

The show, performed by 17 students, is about a small group of people who help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques, and a hefty dose of comedic timing.

The musical features songs such as “Day by Day”, “By My Side”, and “Beautiful City.”
