The police have arrested a Jackson Heights resident for stabbing to death a homeless man in East Elmhurst earlier this month.
Luis Lara Del Castillo, 31, has been charged with manslaughter and gang assault for stabbing Fabian Cyrmy at the corner of 31st Avenue and 91st Street at around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 2.
Cymry, 40, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital for stab wounds to his torso that morning and succumbed to his injuries five days later.
