Man Stabbed During Fight At A Food Cart On Roosevelt Avenue

A 49-year old man was stabbed with a pocket knife following a dispute in front of a Roosevelt Avenue food cart at the end of last month, police said.

The victim became involved in an argument with two unidentified males at a food cart at 83-20 Roosevelt Avenue at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 26. When the dispute escalated the victim was stabbed in the abdomen with a pocket knife. The two other men then fled the scene.

The victim was later transported to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was said to be in a stable condition.

In a video provided by the NYPD, the man suspected of stabbing the victim appears to be bearded and partially bald. He sported a baseball cap, along with a dark shirt and three-quarter length shorts.
