A woman stole a credit card from an unattended shopping cart at BJ’s Wholesale in Middle Village and later used it to make $200 worth of purchases at GameStop, police said.
On Sunday, Dec. 8 around 3 p.m., a 36-year-old woman was shopping inside the BJ’s store, located at 66-26 Metropolitan Ave. when she left her wallet unattended inside a shopping cart, according to police.
Late that same day, the suspect was captured on surveillance cameras making unauthorized purchases with the victim’s credit card inside a GameStop at 368 Knickerbocker Ave. in Brooklyn, police said.
