A 54-year-old man was assaulted at a subway station in Jackson Heights last week, according to police.
Police said the man was inside of the Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights subway station on the Flushing-bound 7 train platform around 8 p.m. on Dec. 28 when an individual approached the victim and proceeded to punch and kick him in the face.
The suspect then fled the station on a Flushing bound 7 train. The victim suffered lacerations and bleeding to the face and was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, according to police.
