Cops seek men who chased and shot at driver in Forest Hills

The NYPD is looking for two men who shot at a 34-year-old in Forest Hills earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Sept. 8, around 4:20 p.m., two men drove their blue Honda Accord up alongside the car of a 34-year-old man, who was parked in front of 72-89 Yellowstone Blvd., according to the NYPD.

The driver of the Honda made a statement to the 34-year-old and the passenger took out a gun, police said. The 34-year-old immediately drove off and the driver of the Honda drove off after him, cops said.

During the chase, the passenger of the Honda fired two shots at the 34-year-old’s car, missing the vehicle both times, according to the NYPD.

The 34-year-old drove to the 112th Precinct, at which point the driver of the Honda fled westbound on Austin Street, according to the police.

There is currently no known motive for the attack, NYPD sources said.

No injuries or property damager were reported as a result of the incident. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
