A 28-year-old man was found shot dead in the vestibule of the apartment building where he lived in Hollis early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
According to police, Broderick Daniels, 28, took multiple gunshots to his torso inside the two-story residence on 184th Street between Henderson and 104th Avenues at about 1 a.m. on Aug. 31.
Detectives have yet to ascertain why Daniels was shot or provide a description of the shooter, sources familiar with the case said.
Officers from the 103rd Precinct found the wounded Daniels while responding to a 911 call about the shooting. EMS rushed him to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
