Traffic enforcement agent charged in alleged domestic incident in Fresh Meadows: NYPD

An NYPD traffic enforcement agent was arrested within the confines of the 107th Precinct in Fresh Meadows on Monday, Sept. 12.

Shahidul Islam, 37, was taken into custody and charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and harassment, police said.

An NYPD spokeswoman said that the arrest was made due to an alleged domestic incident involving a girlfriend but could not provide any further detail into the investigation.
